The Trust's investment objectives are to seek to provide Unitholders with: (a) passive income from ETH Staking Arrangements; and (b) the opportunity for long-term capital appreciation of ETH held in Custody Trust. The Trust aims to outperform the S&P ETH index by combining the direct investment in ETH with rewards earnt from ETH Staking Arrangements.
The Fund generates passive income primarily through ETH Staking Arrangements on the Ethereum network, while retaining the underlying ETH as a long-term asset. ETH is held by an independent custody trustee in a segregated wallet that the Fund controls throughout the staking period, and the Fund retains ownership and control of its ETH at all times. Staking rewards are earned in ETH and reinvested, so they compound the Fund's underlying holding rather than being held in cash.
